Welcome
We hope this page provides a small glimpse into life at our 'small but mighty' school. As a non-selective, one-form entry school, we are blessed with small class sizes in bright airy rooms set in beautiful grounds in the Guildford suburbs. We are proud to have remained open throughout 2020 and were one of a handful of schools in Surrey to welcome back all year groups for the last few weeks of the Summer term.
As we enter another period of lockdown, we feel confident and ready to embrace the spring term, safe in the knowledge that we are prepared and able to adapt to these changing times. We are offering our full curriculum within our dynamic online teaching programme inclusive of PE, Forest School, Music, Speech & Drama and French and we will continue to open our doors to the children of Key Workers.
Whilst we invite to you to virtually step inside Rydes Hill, we do appreciate that videos and images can never convey the true feeling of a school. In the current climate, we are able to provide a 'Personal Virtual Tour' with our Headmistress, Mrs Norville, who will gladly guide you through the School on Zoom and answer any questions you may have.
