At Rydes Hill Prep, children move from learning the fundamentals to discovering just how far they can go.
From Year 3 onwards, our pupils are encouraged to think deeply, embrace challenges and develop the confidence to become independent learners. Small class sizes, exceptional pastoral care and inspiring teaching ensure every child is known as an individual and supported to achieve their very best.

As our Prep becomes co-educational, we are excited to welcome boys and girls into a vibrant learning community where friendships flourish, talents are discovered and aspirations grow.
The years between seven and eleven are transformational. During this time, children develop the knowledge, character and self-belief that prepare them for senior school and for life beyond.
Through a rich curriculum, specialist teaching and outstanding opportunities in sport, music, the arts and outdoor learning, we help every child build strong foundations for ambitious futures.
By the time our pupils leave us, they are academically prepared, emotionally confident and excited for the next stage of their educational journey.
