Sporting Success - Year to Date
As we dive into what promises to be a sporty Summer Term, we're taking the opportunity to look at our sporting performance so far this year. Rydes Hill has competed in netball, gymnastics, cross-country and swimming events over the past 7 months and we are incredibly proud of the fantastic results.
Netball: U8, U9, U10 and U11
Throughout the year, Rydes Hill has competed in 25 netball matches, 2 netball tournaments and the National IAPS U11 Netball Qualifiers. Schools played include Guildford High, Tormead, Notre Dame, Halstead, St Catherine's, Holy Trinity, QE Prep. St Thomas's and Coworth Flexlands with the following results;

2nd and 4th place in the Rydes Hill U10 Invitational Netball Tournament
In addition, Rydes Hill held a House Netball competition towards the end of the Spring Term.

Gymnastics - Prior's Field Gymnastics Competition
Our girls haven't just been busy on the netball court, they also achieved some brilliant results at the Prior's Field gymnastics competition that took place in the Spring term.

Individual 3rd place in U12 Beginner Floor competition
Cross Country Events
Individual 6th and 11th place in U10 races
Individual 6th and 17th place in U11 races
Swimming Meets
Rydes Hill took part in the IAPS Qualifying Rounds - we are still waiting for the results.
3rd Place in the small schools Freestyle relay in the SSSA Gala (Surrey Schools Swimming Association)
