Rydes Hill host annual U10 invitational netball tournament
On Saturday 27th January, Rydes Hill organised and hosted our annual U10 invitational netball tournament for 8 schools from across Surrey. Over 60 girls participated in this event and demonstrated some incredible netball, teamwork and sportswomanship.
Despite being challenged by some tough competition, Rydes Hill played incredibly well, worked especially hard and pulled together as a team, enabling them to secure bonze medals. We were lucky to have a lot of spectators supporting their teams this year which contributed to the amazing atmosphere at the school. A huge thanks to all of our supporters and to Chef Dan and Chef Don from Holroyd Howe who provided delicious bacon and sausage sandwiches, hot drinks and cookies to keep everyone going.
Medals were awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place and all schools went away with participating certificates and smiles on their faces.
The results were as follows:
1st - Tormead
2nd - Manor House
3rd - Rydes Hill
4th - Holy Trinity
5th - St Joseph's
6th - Queen Eleanor's
7th - Notre Dame
8th - St Thomas of Canterbury
A huge thank you to everyone involved in making this event a success!
