On Tuesday 25th September the U11 A&B Netball teams played against Queen Eleanor’s at home.
The girls were excited about their first match of the season and were determined from the outset. The A’s moved the ball quickly down the court and used the set plays we had been practising in class. It was a fast and competitive final quarter and we went onto win the match 10-9. Well done to the A’s.
The squad was Aleeza, Charlotte, Olivia, Lilia, Sophia, Temisha, Jessica and Mia. Olivia was awarded player of the match for her speed and agility on court.
The B team also had a super match. They were keen to get the ball into our attacking third and secured the first goal. The girls worked hard at communicating and defending the ball resulting in another win to RH. The final score was 4-3
The B squad was Emma, Hannah, Maria, Shakthi, Sophie, Raha, Mia and Molly. Molly was awarded player of the match for her defensive play.
