Religious Education
We believe that our task is to enable the pupils to become aware of God in their lives and to lead them to grow in their knowledge of faith through prayer, worship and doctrine.
We take our lead from diocesan guidelines and follow the ‘Here I Am’ religious education programme throughout the school.
We also strive to increase the pupils’ awareness of our multi-cultural society, devoting two weeks each year to teaching about the major world faiths. We address issues such as poverty, injustice and peace.
Pupils are encouraged to express Christian ideals by caring about those less fortunate than themselves and each year we support local, national and international charitable organisations.
