Common Questions
Homework
Homework is an essential part of the learning process and is set for all pupils, with tasks assigned that are appropriate for their age. Every child has a homework diary, which provides a convenient additional day-to-day form of communication between home and school.
The School Day
The classrooms are open each morning from 8.20am and the pupils are expected to arrive before 08.30. Some parents prefer to leave their children at an earlier time and provision is made to supervise them in our complimentary 'Early Bird' club, which begins at 8.00am. After school care provision is available for pupils up to 5.30pm, during which time a healthy tea of fresh fruit and sandwiches is provided.
Uniform
With the exception of the Nursery children, all pupils wear our smart uniform, which is available from the School Shop.
Lunches
Lunches are compulsory for all pupils from Kindergarten upwards. Pupils attending half days in the Nursery may also stay for lunch. A balanced, nutritious meal is cooked on the premises. We also cater for pupils with special dietary requirements.
